This notice explains what personal data IntriKate Consulting LLP collects through this website and by email, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We handle personal data in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it. We have written this notice to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 as their provisions come into force.
Who we are
IntriKate Consulting LLP ("we", "us") decides why and how the personal data described here is processed. Our registered office and LLPIN are shown at the foot of every page. For any question about your personal data, contact the person named below.
What we collect, and why
- Enquiries: your name, organisation, email address, phone number and message, to reply to you and, if you engage us, to prepare a proposal.
- Job applications: your CV and work sample, to assess your application.
- Subscriptions: your email address, to send you our Insights notes until you unsubscribe.
- Technical data: our hosting provider records server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time, to keep the website secure. We use aggregate visit statistics that do not identify you.
Cookies
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If you choose a language, that choice may be stored in your own browser so the site can remember it. It is not sent to us.
Your consent
We process the data you send us on the basis of your consent, or because you have provided it voluntarily for a stated purpose. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to the address below. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and does not affect processing already done.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers who host this website and our email on our behalf, and only as far as they need it to provide that service. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose it where the law requires us to.
Where it is stored
Our service providers may store data on servers outside India. Any such transfer is made in accordance with Indian law.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement: up to 24 months.
- Job applications: up to 12 months.
- Subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
- Server logs: one year, or longer if the law requires.
How we protect it
Data is encrypted in transit. Access is limited to the partners and to people working on your matter, and our accounts are protected with two-factor authentication. If a breach affects your data, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.
Your rights
You may ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it; ask us to correct, complete, update or erase it; raise a grievance; and nominate another person to exercise these rights if you die or become incapable. Write to the address below. We will respond within 30 days.
Complaints
Please raise any complaint with us first. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
